Yiğit Stud was founded in 2020 with a passion for horse breeding and a visionary perspective. Through decisive and strategic steps taken in a short period of time, Yiğit Stud has established a strong position in the industry and has been actively operating for over five years in the fields of stallion services, breeding, and racing, in line with the highest standards of horsemanship.
Under the leadership of its founder, Refik Yiğit, Yiğit Stud’s primary objective is to represent Turkish horse breeding on an international level, enhance genetic quality, and make a sustainable contribution to the development of bloodlines. In line with this vision, successful and distinctive bloodlines not previously available in Türkiye are carefully selected and imported, introducing internationally recognized genetic structures to Turkish horse breeding.
Our operations are carried out under the roof of Rüzgar Yiğit Stud Farm, located on 130 decares of land in İzmit, which is recognized as one of Türkiye’s prestigious centers for horse breeding. With the addition of distinguished stallions such as Arizona from Coolmore and Belardo from Godolphin, Yiğit Stud has taken strong steps toward establishing a presence in the global horse breeding arena.
With an elite broodmare band consisting of 20 or more mares and the foals bred from them, we are building a structure focused on quality, continuity, and success across racing, stallion services, and breeding.
